These open-face molds are one of my favorite styles. These are so much easier to get the popsicles out of and filling them evenly with things like slices of fresh fruit is so much easier so you no longer have to deal with clumps at the tip.

For layering popsicles, you need a standard upright popsicle mold. A silicon popsicle mold is so much easier to get the popsicles out of than the hard plastic ones that we used to have as kids that almost never let go of your popsicle without first melting much of it.
